The Color of Her Lipstick
By Handsum-Hart

As I was slowly advancing on foot
A trio of lovelies
Who were playing lipstick games
At the cosmetic counter,
Beckoned me to their midst
And asked me for my opinion
On which lipstick, looked the prettiest

One had on sinful red lipstick,
One had on money-digger green lipstick
And one had on virgin white lipstick

With eyes filled, with no nonsense
Upon them I looked and did say
“As long a woman
Speaks only the truth
Her lips will always be pretty to me,
Regardless of the color
Of the cosmetic crayon
She colorizes them with”

As I was about to quickly
Back-step towards the exit
The lady wearing the sinful red lipstick
Said to me, in seductive whisper
“How about we rendezvous tonight
Under the light of moon at midnight,
And I will teach you
The art of sinful kissing”

As I looked upon her
I could see, she was serious
As the pretty glow of the truth
Was all over her sin-seeking lips

Wonderful interesting write about the colour of lipsticks.

Well, I guess I'm sinful because my lipstick is red...
