She lives in a brown stone off Filth and Main no ghetto queen her parents said she would be her suitors from only affluent families, could see she met him at Starbucks, sipping her cafe au lait as she dunked and chewed her almond biscotti he wiped her table again and again so smitten was he with her beauty she desired to touch this cleaning thug hands yet knew his unrequited love would be forbidden so everyday at half pass three an assignation, she would keep make love with only her wanton doe eyes in a quiet corner away from prying sight till that fateful day she came in the rain he saw his chance under her umbrella blocking the view of the curious world lips met for a first heart stopping kiss He dressed up that evening with yellow roses in hand Dressed in his best valor, Sean John appeared at her door, ringing the bell her mother did open with a scowling frown, greet took the flowers and bid the poor soul farewell the door closed in his face, before he could speak so round to her bedroom window he did creep throwing stones, calling out his beloved's name her face appeared for a moment then the lace fell back in place with tears in his eyes he, walked sorrowfully away what he did not know, she had run from her room down the stair case she ran with parents in chase out the door she flew, seeking his warm embrace hearing foot steps behind him, turning he did as she ran into his arms saying hurry we must flee doleful parents missed out on the rest of her life all because they judged a person by location not from what they had to offer in their heart no greater loss can their's ever be, then to lose a love one who is still alive but dead in deeds
