Are we not all the same
regardless of our hue
or of who we follow.
Were we not all once born
from wombs of a mother
seeded by our fathers.

Are we not living life
to the best way we can
day to day in labor.
Can we not live as one
on our world in our space
through harmony with grace.

Are we not striving hard
to raise our children well
by beleif and teachings.
Have we not went about
or stayed in our known place
to keep family safe.

Are we not all of God
no matter what names used
as we do him honor.
Will we not at last see
to live together as one
is our very best hope.

Are we not all the same
in life in love in God
one of a family.
Are we not here sharing
a common finite space
truly only people.
