During the time of bold Roman legions
marching and conquering most the known world
building roads to bind all peoples to Rome. They came to this place of blue tatooed men
unable to force their way much beyond
so here they erected this wide rock wall. Along it's length forts were constructed
to house these invaders against the Picts. The wall became the line of Rome's extent
and the forts became towns where none had been. All were abandoned millenia ago
where later locals had gleaned stones to build
homes and other smaller property walls. Now today we walk these rubbled ruins
near Englands northern border with Scotland old Hadrian never envisioned this.

Thanks for the history lesson. Just saw Mel Gibson's rendition of William Wallace again. Even in latter days, the Scottish Highlands created fierce men.
Welcome!
The poems in this beautifully bound book are a result of over twenty years of observations. Observations of the world around us and on the telecommunications network. All of the hate, love, heroism, disasters, and those who help.
