true love as it is for me

February 11 2013

Poem Artwork

The single nucleus of souls combined
what matter the distance of shells apart.
Once wandering alone, now redefined
as each just a half of the Master's art.
She and he now so heartfully entwined
only a they remains after their start.
Never again alone or love denied
each now residing in the others heart.

I like to think of the heart as a pump. When two minds come together in a loving relationship, it binds them into something greater than the two individuals alone.

Such a love becomes rarer with the growing selfish nature of our race, but it is not yet extinct I am happy to say.

This is outstanding, Budd! I was going to say "beautiful" but you're seeing that a lot already, so I had to find another word that fits.
I love "each just a half of the Master's art." Really, the whole poem is special.

Beautiful. So in keeping with my own belief with the oneness of everything, regardless of how our weakness might try and separate it all.

Love and companionship are truly, figuratively and literally combined.
Lovely words, there, Bud.
