Sitting here wrapped on every side
my lap , my leg and by my side. By my three girls covered with fur
keeps me warm while i think of her. I count days ticking slowly by
so many to go, i could but cry. We four alone, with cat elsewhere
all comfort each other with care. There's no doubt they feel my pain
all waiting, 'til she's home again.
Three I have that comfort me,
Cuddled love as we all sleep.
When I wake up in my chair,
The cuddled three are always there...
