There was a pretty colleen from Thomasville
for some reason thought herself over the hill
then a chap from Stratford
her heart he captured
and now their proving her wrong with quite a thrill
Reads like someone you know. Limericks are usually a bit satirical, funny and portray human strangeness or fallacies. However, this one seems right down the alley of romance.
This one made me laugh out loud and I am here alone, Good one Budd. sometimes we look in the mirror as we get older and do not see ourselves anymore but when someone special meets you they see the real you inside that wrinkled shell and enjoy you so. I have had a few thrills like that in the past few years, they did not last but I so enjoyed them
