Running around in a hurry,
Trying to be promtly on time,
Meeting arrangements made,
Are quite tough in today's world,
As traffic and telephone hold me up,
Hassles of various sorts come up,
And I am fearful of fits,
Put up by my daughters,
Who want to be the first,
To leave class among their peers,
Thus the pressure rises,
And I drive in a mad frenzy,
To beat the school bell!
Mary Angela Nangini's poems celebrate the richness of life and love. From the city to cottage-country and the roads in between, Nangini explores the changing seasons of her varied region. (This book will soon be reprinted in hard cover.)
