Blue Withers

There are blue flowers,
Sitting in a crystal vase,
Slowly losing their colour,
As all else around us withers.

There are blue skies,
Floating in spheres,
Passing their clouds,
As all else around us withers.

There are blue waves,
Travelling along the shores,
Into vast deep oceans,
As all else around us withers.

There are blue moments,
Where thoughts and feelings,
Reverberate through us,
As all else around us withers.

This is sadly beautiful. I had a blue roan horse when I was growing up. I had thought from the title of this excellent poem that it might be referring to the top of the shoulders of a similarly colored horse. LOL Your idea is much better.
