When Time taketh it's toll,
And Fate lets the dice roll,
Of dear destiny,
Never be a victim to yeild
But charge forth into the field,
With bravery,
Free will,
Wisdom,
And Determination,
Testing the boundaries
Of Predestination,
We know not what we do,
Whether we surpass,
Or fight the windmills
Of Don Quixote.
We know not what we liveth
If life this is,
A Dream or Delirium,
But exist we do
In this realm,
And the conquest
Still lays ahead,
For blind knights
Of mortal armour.
If you tend to believe romantic, passionate, masculine poetry is a thing of past eras, read "She Intrigues Me," and be swept away in the beautiful craft of a contemporary poet of love.
