Spurred by some unseen force— To spill brilliant expressions— Upon sterile paper, Only inanity fills the stage.
"Catharsis," whispered my alter.
"What the hell is that?" I rhetorically asked. Without further consideration, My mind scoured my mind, Seeking ultimate profundity.
"Catharsis," it echoed.
"Get away, silliness," I exasperated, "Shoo! I have other things of import to do." Insipidities offer themselves, Like street corner prostitutes.
"Catharsis. Take me! Take me!" said my id.
I relented. What is that curious word— That insists on blocking my creativity? The definition blew my mind’s eye. Don’t squabble with your id, I learned.
"I told you so!" the little voice exclaimed. "Now, don’t you feel better?"
Very interesting perspective. Enjoyed it very much!

I feel better! I squabble with my "id" every once-in-a-while so I can have an intelligent squabble (kind of like talking to yourself, and then answering yourself). Your mind amazes me as do your other traits! BobbieHZ
Scott, have I not done it enough that you should realize to never argue with your "id", just let it flow...as you did here, the "id" is all powerful as you have learned. You constantly outdo yourself in each and every write you do...thanks for a more fun one to laugh at, Peace, ED & "Woofie"
