I never felt so close to God as I did when this gorgeous hummingbird clasped my finger.

Zachary Copyright 2009 Nothing so dainty Could feel so powerful As God's tiny claws Wrapped around my finger What a blessing to behold In his exhaustion He nearly fell asleep His eyelid drooped I held His glorious creation aloft Until my arm was leaden Perfectly content Knowing that I adore Him

Wow Scott! I love hummingbirds! This is a great thought, 'God's tiny claws.' Only God could create a bird so amazingly perfect and such and inspiration to all of us that get remotely close enough to view their excellence. Blessings...Frances
