Marsupial Fleas

By Scott D. Zachary

"It’s sunny—
And my nose is runny,
So where’s my money,
Mr. Funny Bunny?"

"You’re raining on my party,
Mr. Smarty.
It’s in the Galapagos.
Jeeze, wipe your nose."

"How dare you talk to me like that?
I’m not just some feline in a hat;
I’ll have you know, I’m a wombat!
So there. What do you think of that?"

"Oh, pulease . . .
You don’t scare me with your marsupial fleas,
Nor with your Australian pedigrees.
Wipe your snout with some of these."

"Honk, honk. Honk, honk. Honk, honk.
Pay up or we really, really willy wonk!
Just because you gave me some tissue,
Doesn’t mean I’ll forget the whole issue."

"Even if you were a pollywog in a swamp,
I still wouldn’t give you even one lollipomp.
Ewww, Mr. Smarty; you missed some;
Your nose needs an oversized con-dumb."

"You’ve beaten me this time, but I’ll be back;
And next time, I’ll bring my purple kayak!"

Scott,

Yeppers... you're The Master of the "last liners"! What a fun(ny) write! Thanks for the laugh. (Oh, and I had to laugh at Ed's comment. Little does he know... or does he? Laughing, laughing, I am...)

And this 'splains your "purple kayak" comment in your message to me the other day. I had no idea what you meant at the time - Geesh, I'm behind in my reading!

Good job, as always!
Tami

Scott, Ever thought about committal? If not how about writing books for children, you are really good at it! Always enjoy a good laugh, thanks, ED & Rufus

Say Something Terrorible v3 by RickthePoetWarrior

My mom says ‘If you can’t say anything nice then don’t say anything’. Sorry mom but under the guise of poetic license I penned these beauties.
