A Writer’s Prayer

If I should die before I sleep, Please let my fellow writers keep— Writing.
And I pray that my aspirators— Inspire other writers, So that they may keep— Writing.
You’ve given me many joys, But my favorite was— Writing.
Thank you for enabling me to— Give them a tear through my— Writing.
And when I gave them a smile— Or a laugh, I was privileged to be— Writing.
Thank you, God, for allowing me to write.

This is beautiful.... yeah, when the Merlot is gone...lol! Excellent poetry, I am impressed and you know, I love the simplicity of this piece of work and at the same time... it just speaks volumes. Was a pleasure!
