Bobbie's love spills over me like a silvery poetic shower.
A Perfect Day
By Scott D. Zachary
Awakened by the lips of an angel . . . No purer view to a flawless day. Gilded eyes sparkled like diamonds, Lovingly exploring my soul’s recesses.
Hark! Bid low; won a small kingdom. Hand-in-hand with my sweetest treasure, We romped and explored our new lands. Deer jettisoned like rockets before us.
From the pinnacle of our new realm, She and I admired distant places. We held each other close; a wind, A bitter wind held us closer, yet.
In the middle of a broad grassy knoll, I laid my angel down and kissed her. Loving and grateful, she held me tight. A perfect day transformed into night.

There is nothing like love. Absolutely nothing like it!
I loved this: "Lovingly exploring my soul’s recesses." <--Ooooh! Word play is top notch! WHAT an image.
This is probably my favorite poem of yours. Excellent work.
Awwww, Scott! This is so tender and sweet. Absolutely wonderful!
Hugs,
Tami
PS. You might want to rethink this line, as "worser" is improper: "Against my worser judgement, I didn’t." (Certainly not that poetry has to be proper, but it doesn't read well. To use the word "worse" would be proper, but I don't know if that really works well.)
