On my hands and knees in the mud, My teeth gritting upon a light source, "Another ‘double’," I mumbled, Seesawing their delicate bodies free.
Whose bodies are being seesawed?
Peered upon by mastodons, "Right, face!" he bellowed. At the finale of their review, Hats and emotions flew.
Whose hats flew?
Through the window of my gate shack— I view the winged source of ultimate destruction. The alert crews didn’t respond today; Gratefully, the world is still in tact.
What am I guarding here?
I threaded a worm and cast it afar, Hoping for a great big channel cat. He hit big; excited, I reeled him in. My prize catfish had four legs!
Scott, glad to see you're writing a bit again, you need time off of work anyway and this is good for you...These were cute and the only one I figured was the one with gaurding the nukes...but as a friend I get disqualified anyway...would like to see more in future...peace, Ed & rufuz
You caught ..hmmmm, cooties? LOL--- Anne absolutely took home the cake! I liked it. I went fishing one time ... like a big girl, I screamed when my pole started to wiggle. What was it? The current..lol. So be it...I enjoyed reading. Excellent work.
Anne did such a great job of nailing these riddles that I must concede the contest to her. Her only mistake was that it was a salamander, not a turtle, but who could possibly guess that? The next contest will definitely be more challenging. I'll be back with my purple kayak! Scott
some wild guesses here: but i'd say you see-sawed nightcrawlers, you were guarding nukes, the hats were thrown by a graduating class and you caught a turtle. -anne
