Written as only an artist could! You certainly captured the desolate feeling some dry winter landscapes can bring...although I know this goes deeper into your soul than that. Great imagery.
Outstanding poetry portraying the realistic winterscape...although being from the south, I love the summer landscapes the best. :)

Only I am seeing the darkside of this surreal piece of astounding poetry. But then, maybe only I have enough of the dark side that I can ferret it out, wherever it is.
Excellent poetry, Janet - seen as only a true artist and painter of words and pictures can. Beautifully defined and confidently not over-stated... I am told at school that my work is overwritten and therefore shows insecurity and lack of confidence... not so this lovely piece which, like a wonderful picture, could be stared at for ages and still find new things in it!
