Angles

Why are we horizontal?
Sun sets from sky to sea.
We wash ourselves
in healing rain,
that makes us clean
and free.

While sharing talk
and laughter,
connection is made
with our eyes.
But, we must look up
and speak His name
to know the great
Sonrise.

Loved this poem, Janet, and I don't mean to pick, but wouldn't the last line be more effective by combining the two words, Sonrise?
