Her choice, though some in prison latch onto someone on the outside just to have someone to visit them etc...conning is part of their lives...your friend needs to use caution...ed

Yes, to be wise as serpents and as gentle as doves is the key... but what a confusing and difficult one, perhaps. With the heart of a romantic, optimist and a spirit of faith I would seek always to sincerely hope, wish and pray for the best for dear people in this situation. The lovebond has maybe already surmounted the most challenging odds and it would indeed be nice to think that this union has already worked through its most difficult stage - that of flourishing in a thoroughly desert soil. I wish them much blessing like rain on parched soil once their relationship can be fully realised. But then, this is poetry, right??!! As such it is an intimate and well portraitured narrative in the given Brice Parker coloured-canvas fashion... TY Kate xx

While the romantic in me would hope that that seven seas trip would be in their future, the cynic in me agrees with Felix and Jerry - these relationships are often about "using" rather than real love. But there's always hope! And this poem IS about hope.

Ah, I have seen this mismatch pairing before. All I can say is I wish them well. Take another look at Felix's comment, there is wisdom there.

I like to believe in these fairy tale style weddings between prisoners and ladies on the outside but the cynic in me wonders how many are just looking for someone to use and abuse once they get out.
