Lustful Love

I met him and our eyes met
The best of feelings felt yet
Attraction felt and how
I wanted him right now

Wanting was in both our souls
Burning just as would hot coals
New feeling that I felt
Causing my heart to melt

Nights In White Satin did play
Our passion showed on that day
My love for him displayed
Upon the bed we made

He's gone but still I love him
Although our love became grim
Here's to love so profound
Left me without a sound

Celebrate love that once was
Not lasting only because
We loved each other too much
No other has that sweet touch

I wander through the pages
Looking for love of ages
No man can take his place now
True love was and is and how
