It's sad, but it happens, and life is harsh, lonely, but good things come with time also. just the waiting is so hard too. I like this poem, brings memories of a certain person to me.
Reminds me of standing in the eye of a hurricane when it passes over, which I have done physically and in person here on the gulf coast. I have stuck my head around the corner of the building my business was in watching the hurricane come in and then walk the street for about a half hour in dead calm as the eye passed directly over me. There is nothing like experiencing the calm like that after a huge storm.
Of course, the wind switched directions and the hurricane force returned once again, kind of like life does.

A sad tale but at least "the end" is clearly written "on her past. The poem is a testament to change; we experience things, both good and bad, and we need to go with the flow of the ups and downs. There is an end of every day. John
I met Jerome on a busy city street in Baltimore, Maryland, when he was forty-five years old. On that particular day, I was out and about, enjoying a much-needed day off from work.
