There is nothing like other people thinking you agree to give up your mind! How do they do it?????(or think they are able to)

It's a "lay back" morning Gonna watch all of the craziness Got to keep it going on Hide your face but sing your song Trying not to show it How it feels hiding half of your face Got to keep it going on Let it heal it won't be long Got into my own head All this time told not to do Gonna keep on lovin' you Even if it's wrong Jane Noponen Perinacci ��

You can't win for losing, Jane, especially in writing poetry. No matter what you say, it is going to be interpreted according to the reader's head. I just take it as it comes. John

The line that caught George was "hiding half your face."

So your poem is sending a mixed message with both being laid-back and hiding at the same time. Just doesn't make sense. Especially the part about loving someone even if it's wrong.

I agree, Jane, sometimes following your heart is the best way to go. Thinking about it, analyzing it, etc. can give you big time headache.
