All season hold beauty.

Poem Artwork

How pure white the drifting snow
Piled up high that all may know
It's there though blinding it may be
For all to love and all to see

Soon footprints and plows come by
Sun shines warmly in the sky
The snow reduced to puddle play
So sad once it melted away

In it's place come sprouts of Spring
Shed new light on everything
Precipitation now is rain
Bringing new life around again

You should just keep quiet about the snow leaving and rain in its stead, as where you live in Ohio, snow can still come to like what, April??

Wishing for spring? With the Super Bowl hoopla over, this "sanctuary" city has returned to a balmy 82° with my orange tree sprouting new leaves that got singed badly in our only freeze so far this year.

You can always come down here with me and skip all those seasons. We only have two here, hot and dicey. ;-)

There's nothing quite as evanescent as snow, here today in all its beauty, reduced to puddles and mud tomorrow before it is gone. We need to enjoy it while it lasts, as your poem has done. John

Great rhyming! The season is soon to "Spring" ahead, and not one day too soon for me, although we have had a very mild winter down here. Great, positive write!

Nice tribute to the purity of snow; it makes the dullest landscape a winter wonderland.

In the Whirlwind by Tichaona Chinyelu

In the Whirlwind is a poetic storm that frees history from the cages of corruption and puts it in the hands of everyday people. Words are weaved into a new fashion statement that has nothing to do with runways but everything to do with projects!
