An uncommon approach to pain and suffering. Far too few look to nature for a synonym that best describes the feelings a sentient existence often makes overwhelming. Your choice here was spot on and made the poem stand out as original. Thank you for posting.
Love the concept of this one. The older I get the more I feel I can bend with the winds, find warmth against the cold and ice and rise back up in the spring with a fresh new coat of leafs. Well done Jane.
