Saying goodbye is hard, but sometimes necessary

Shadows cast on the pavement floor/ Eyes watched them fade through open door/ An icy breeze sweept over me/ Chilled beating heart & sympathy/ I can no longer hold ur pain/ What my soul felt is now disdain/ I have to walk this path apart/ from somber visions in the dark/ My life, my soul/my world, my dreams/ I cling 2 hope/to hope I cling/ My life, my soul/my world, my dreams/ I cling to hope/my spirit sings · ·
