Ghost Hunters…

Into spook infested homes they go,

Seeking out ghosts to and fro,

Pictures of orbs, streaks of light,

Mysterious sounds, movements at night…

Cameras & other EMF equipment at the ready,

Held by hands, unlike mine, much more steady,

Light low, darkness pervades,

Why must you hunt during the night?

Are not these spirits there during the daytime as well?

Or are they night dwellers, fearful of the day,

The day is there for the living, the night for the ghost…

Guess they have to get their due, they are there to host,

Us through another round of hunting for them the most,

Surprising all the places they inhabit,

Stores, private homes, restaurants and other habitats,

Though the inhabitants of these places, just plain folk,

Find the antics of the ghosts to be less than pleasant,

At least after a visit from the ghost hunter, they will know,

That the ghosts that share their home or business,

Are mostly benign and friendly, only wishing to show off…
