A predator lives in the pine barrens, he stalks, then takes, then ties them out with stakes...

Poem Artwork

TAKEN…

Splayed out on the hot summer sand,

Like a fish on a hot griddle, I do lament,

Tied down, hands above my head, feet spread out,

Naked to the sun, no lotion, no way to make motion…

Trying to get free, I burn my wrists, from ropes not frayed,

I am here for all to be seen and displayed,

My manhood shrunken and reddened, burned almost off from suns rays,

Insects have caught my scent,

Crawling on me making me writhe and squirm, increasing my dissent,

Herein I need to get away, the creature of the barrens is on his way…

This creature, he did pluck me from my car, in broad daylight,

I had no chance; he did numb me with his eyes, yes his sight,

A creature from another time, he does live here in the barrens,

Only attacking one or two a year, to feed off of, I being the one too near…

He feeds off living flesh, till the flesh it does die, as will I,

Then to be left to be found by some hapless hunter or hiker,

I fear they will see nothing that is me, left to be found,

He seems more hungry than other times I have heard,

My balls and penis a treat he seems to feel he has deserved…

Rotting in the sun for the summer I will be,

After he has had his fill of my genitals and the rest of me,

My screams of pain go unheard, or others are afraid of what they may find,

If they were to follow that sound, into the deep woods of the barrens,

Please, though, if you can hear, I can’t be too far away,

Come find me, come release me, before he returns to gut me,

My entrails left hanging out in the breeze,

My heart a delicacy he could not just leave…

Mr. Piddles and Grey Wolf have agreed to rescue you, Ed. But there is a small price; Grey Wolf is hungry again.

"My balls and penis a treat he seems to feel he has deserved…"

If these terms are acceptable, pls advise; and they will be right there.

That’s why I always say shoot first and ask questions later. Wrapped up tighter than a bulls a$$ on a windy day, I see. Dark write, but then again, it's almost Saturday night!
