Honored I have Been… Never have I ever been, Not even by my very own kin, Honored for just being myself, Will print the poem out, Frame it and put it on a shelf… I would like to thank the little people, Isn’t that what the “biggies” always say? My dearest friend Kate, You have brought to my life a sunny ray… I won’t apologize or say I am sorry and don’t deserve, As Katy the Viking would strike me down, Then Mz Killer Kate may bury me in her gardens ground, I will only say thank you Kate for being my friend, sometimes you do just I, astound… © ed ~ 11/7/04

Ha! damned straight, Eddie M... don't you dare breathe a moment of "I don't deserve'... Sigh... finally got over there to read your "tribute" and you have, indeed, been honored... and why not?! There is no one quite like you, here in the chaotic, whirlwind, frenetic, roller-coaster of a den we (gingerly) share, eh? (smile) You do have a special something... good on ya, sweets! katy xox.

It is always good to have one best friend for each of us, and I think Kate is there for you. You are very lucky. Keep the friendship alive.

Ed, CongratMOOlations on writing such a nice poem about your friendship! I did not know that Kate was a Viking. You asked why cows ignore you and Rufuz. Well here is the thing. Chewing cud takes all their energy so I bet they were chewing their cud. Many times cows wave hours after people drive by. This is a sad phenomenon of the breed.
