Actually, Ted's wrong, though I thought it was a group named "War" too for a while... I just can't think of the guy's name right now.. sorry. It's NOT the Temptations, though... again, sorry. (smile)

But I DO remember Country Joe and the Fish: ... and it's 1,2,3 what're we fightin' for? don't ask me, I don't give a damn... next stop is AMSTERDAM??? (who the hell knows, Eddie M?!) Sigh... good piece, anyway.. katy xox.

Ed you have written a very truthful piece here. You say you are not a christian well I do not go for organized religion because of the fact that people have to speak their minds. This was what Christ was about but then that last line yep you are right. The sad part is the warmakers will be fighting right up to last minute. That was foretold by John on the island of Pathos. I am with Eileen.

War is like everything else connected with the human condition. If we allow for it, it will happen. War is a past and present condition. Why is it so hard for people to create a future without it? All thought (worldwide) must be collective for the reality to take place. children understand this; and then we teach them :-(
