I like being liked…

My new job has now become quite easy,

Working it I basically no longer feel queasy,

But dealing with any boss I always do without any ease,

Just once I would like to hear her, me, tease,

She might then have a sense of humor,

At least from what I hear that is the rumor…

Perhaps if I stop trying so hard,

Let up and be myself, stop trying to be a card,

Then things will work out better,

Then I won’t have to be for myself a trend setter…

Being liked has always been my goal,

It’s not easy of myself to extol,

In fact it is downright brazen,

Fortunately I do not have to stay in the office,

I am out on the road most of the time,

Taking what amounts to a leisurely stroll…
