I have no idea what category to put this under, so...

Infirm…

Infirm of purpose,

Give me the daggers,

Bedridden beyond reproach,

No one desires to me approach,

Death does take me slowly by the hand,

Wish though I could walk let alone stand…

Debilitated and decrepit,

Falling apart at the seams

Feeble and faint,

Sapless and weak…

Is this the way to die with honor?

If it is than I am most certainly a goner,

Pathetically lacking,

Spavined in legs and feet,

Spatial in my mind,

Has come my time,

The end of the age-old grind…

Time for all of mankind,

To upraise their collective behinds,

Show their crack to the otherworldly visitors,

Breaking wind, yes fart,

Show them that we lack anything refined…

Infirm of the brain,

Must have been for me, all the cocaine,

My life being over, no more of the mundane,

If I could walk I would lay down in front of a train…

WOW! "spavined" ??? You even have a horse disease? Way to go! Why suffer from mere human ailments/foibles... an equal opportunity sufferer, eh? Well, I'm for your imagination, sir... I'm just not sure I want to think of you under a train, for god's sake!

Seriously, Eddie M, this is a very "grown-up" pen you wrote with... one of your best, and I'm not kidding! Brave, multi-leveled, absorbing stuff, my dear. Here endeth my sincere opinion. katy xox

This is shitty write with shitty feelings.
A fart that stunk - not only to the author,
but also to the readers as well....

Not to worry, I've meant this in a nice way -
An emotions well-expressed piece!

I warned you that turning 50 would be traumatic for you - but I never knew it would be this bad. Now get your 50+ butt out of that bed - and walk Rufuz!

Think about the guys and girls laying wasted by both friendly and enemy fire in that hellhole called Iraq? I know because two of them were my students. They were lucky enough to come back and say "war sucks." So I guess I don't have much to complain about, compared to their amazing stories. Find your strength, and strengthen others. You're too good of a person to just sit around being "infirmed." So find your glow, and become "informed."

love and peace Ed,

Inherent Chaos by Terry Vinson

The fortunate inherit riches, prestige, positive notoriety. Those not so lucky bear legacies filled with poverty, infamy or, worse yet, the unhinged insanity and murderous urges of their ancestors.
