No dogs allowed on beach (or people from a northern country go home)

Sorry but I get incensed when I see someone wantonly treat any natural area as if it were a trash dump...ed!

Poem Artwork

No dogs allowed on the beach…(or people from a northern country go home)

They treat the beach as if they have no eyes,

Some of the Montreal types I do despise,

But when comes their demise,

Standing in front of God they will reap their prize…

They do leave the beaches a mess,

None will in anyway confess,

A trashcan within sight,

They dump their trash on the sand with an almost delight…

As far as their dogs, not allowed on the beach,

Though they still bring them and say they do not speak English,

They park where they please, in front of fire hydrants,

In yellow zones, and red,

Seems as far as they are concerned they own the world,

Some I would like to see turn up dead…

If once I saw them put trash in its proper place,

I might have a coronary; they really are a disgrace,

Maybe all are not the same, I may just notice the worst,

But the ones I see need to be sprayed with mace,

Maybe I am being wrong herein, but I would like them to go to some other space…

Grrrrrrrrrrr.... I can seem much taller than my 5' when I (ahem) try to "educate" these morons! They poison what little we have left, that the money-grubbers haven't destroyed with concrete and their own version of TRASH (as long as it makes a buck, etc)! If Freud was right and we ARE influenced by our environment, we have a lot to fear from those just now comin' up unless we take action, as you have. Mother Nature weeps.

I'm proud of you, Eddie M. Too few people are fighting back these days. I'm with you, sir! katy xox

I agree with you on this....you know what I do when I see someone so ignorant...I walk straight up to them pick the trash up in chuck it in the bin....to make them feel guilty. But you get those....nothing sticks to them...they will still laugh in your face!!

some of the kids in my neighborhood will stand right beside the trash can and throw the trash on the ground. Ed I always say, you'll poem anything. This sure fits my dilemma, know how you feel

You tell them Ed,when people have no respect for their surroundings they need to be told. Especially when they purposely do it as I too have seen some from other countries do. You live there and have every right to vent!

I am ignorant and love it, thought it was not my intention to compare anyone to dogs,(though it sure did look that way I will admit) but what a great idea, thanks Kristen!
