Suffice to say I know you are all out there, as my inbox for email is overflowing with your works, but time is tight of late...working takes precedence...sorry!
To my friends at AuthorsDen… Seems a lot of late, I have had to fish or cut bait, Working my fingers to the bone, Not able to stay long, At my “no place like home”… Busy though I may have been, Each day I get time to be seen, Trying to keep writing still, Wishing I had the time to drink from the still… If I have been too busy to leave a comment, I apologize and really do to you repent, I doubt with my new route I will be able to change, But just realize and understand, That as soon as I am able, I will read all of you, Including those that are downright strange, Yes Kostro, that means you… © ed ~ 6/12/05

i know how you feel...sometimes i'll read an author, and i will review them, and then i slack off; and i am sure they are wondering if i have dropped off the planet, but i haven't really...it's because i am too danged busy writing myself! LOL i have so many favorites here i can't possibly review them all!! but i do have my favorites in which i regularly review (and yes, you are one of them!)! so if i don't review, please do forgive me.

i always feel bad because i start out leaving some kind of comment on each poem that i read and then as the day goes on and the list gets longer, i slack. i always read, i just don't comment on every poem the way i do earlier in the day. i'm just glad you are here, ed

I can totally relate to this, Ed as I too work long hours. I am up at 4am to go to work and sometimes don't get out until 6 or 7pm. With that kind of schedule, my chores around the house to attend to and trying to spend a little time with friends, I find it difficult to even have the time to write, much less read all the wonderful poems that are placed here. I don't write often, but when I do, if I don't see a comment from you I will understand completely.
