One Tablet or Ninety?

Three months of prescriptions,

Too bad they were not around for the Egyptians,

Though they may have been, as I can’t read inscriptions,

For anti-depressants and painkillers we get our subscriptions…

No drug too powerful,

Using them he may for pulling over your eyes the wool,

Sits in his self made prison and feigns humor,

Better he should explode of in his head a tumor…

Fat and old he does become,

No pill can change age or give him immortality,

With his lack of any known specific mentality,

He will become eventually just another fatality…

Staring out the window at life and its treasures,

He watches while dreaming of immoral pleasures,

Hiding in his bar-less prison,

Fortunately for those outside, he has taken for himself security measures…
