Decomposition…

Should I just remain composed?

Or should I help them attain to be decomposed,

Those that make my life all the more exposed,

They need to be lying in dirt six feet down,

On their lives the gods have foreclosed…

My stomach full tonight with baked ziti,

I feel satisfied and full and should be in Tahiti,

I am tired of being me, I wish I were less meaty,

The poetry I write just so much is it graffiti…

Doubled up on my Zoloft,

Wish to feel tonight more aloft,

Can’t get high on illegal drugs,

Got no one but Rufuz here to give me healing hugs…

Let them that don’t like my life just f**k off,

Buried they should be in a hogs trough,

Wish I could live from writing, but no,

No longer would I need a boss, everyone could just go blow…

Poet, yes I said, “Poet!” Hopefully, one of these days, you’ll truly understand exactly what I mean, whenever I say it to you, my gifted friend. In ones life, all one can do is be themselves, and to those who cannot grasp that concept, should be buried six feet under. I have continued to read your unique style and flare of the written word, and have always found it to be exhilarating to say the least. Thank you for sharing your work, and may the winds always be at your back. Take care and be well.

Hang On, I'm sending some more healing hugs from my two mutts via Carrier Pigeon and they should arrive soon.

And please don't decompose in that motor home - picture poor Rufuz if you do!

These Black and Blue Red Zone Days by Aberjhani

Just as life during the pandemic was color-coded with different hues representing different levels of danger, life in its aftermath has become shaded in similar ways. As a self-styled “Seeker of Beauty with Beauty,” (borrowing from a quote by W.E.B.
