If one synchronized swimmer drowns, do they all…?

Dragging each other down,

Is that not what the scum are doing in an “easy” southern town?

The world does react with more than a frown,

But what would happen in their little town?

If the same or some other catastrophe were to take away its crown…

What to do to make things better?

Fortunately it is summer, no need for sweaters,

What they seem to need is a mayoral go-getter,

What they got it does seem is someone only adept at writing letters…

Its been asked if we are experiencing the first days of the apocalypse?

Does the bible predict this or was it Nostradamus?

Are we next headed to a permanent sun/moon solar eclipse?

Will we be shrouded in darkness not able to come to grips?

I have no clue, but I do see that the world seems to be falling apart,

Best for us all if beforehand we just from this old world depart…
