I know that feeling all too well. Usually it was me being picked up, but I'm still here and one of these times it will be me, you or whomever. but life goes on in another phase so try not to be too fearful;-)

I've just learned that the Crocodile Hunter, Steven Irwin, had died. He was stung by a Stingray while in a diving endeavour. I've often thought he was going to die by eaten alive by a crocodile, but stung by a stingray was to last thing in my mind that he would have died of.
It is always scary for me when the ambulance comes in the night with sirens blaring. I watch patiently to see if the person they are picking up is moving and then I pray for the best for them. I am glad that they weren't coming for you, Ed, you dodged the bullet one more time. ;)
