& to think I had no clue what to write this morning...not that this is prize winning material, but...

Poem Artwork

To work I am beckoned,

A Saturday night I have reckoned,

Won’t be my first night there,

Only for five or six hours, it seems but a second…

Two hundred quick miles,

Transferring the files,

Took a shower did I with dial,

Wish Rene were with me,

Using all her feminine wiles…

Wish I were heading to the sea,

To speak to mom Nature I would be,

Maybe tomorrow there I can see,

Beckoned now to work I do ultimately be…

Beckoned to an alumni gathering this Sat. night 06/21/08. Leary of going, cause wasn't all that popular in school, shy they would say of me. Now am outgoing and hope some people there will accept me as I am not, old age 63 and fat and who knows what else I will appear to them. Hope to reminisce with some old friends. Know of 2 girls I'll be able to connect with at least. Other's we
'll see, little nervous about going by myself there too. Oh, well lookingforward to it though, something for a loner to do.

It's a shame to work on Saturday, Ed,

But at least you know you can keep Rufuz fed

Though I am certain you would rather be in bed

With Rene beside you at the old homestead

Take care,

Sherry

Yeah, I would rather be showered by my wife's feminine wiles. Working on a Saturday night was the stuff of the North Sea fishing, not anymore - not for me anyway, not now - used to be - not now.
