Ain't your fault, Ed. :) Problem is, everyone who whines and complains (being good LOL) still won't give up their HUMMERS and big SUVs - they'll still drive even if gas goes up to (God forbid) $10.00 a gallon!!!! Gimme the 70s anyday - could afford gas, then -

Good one, I like the last line right where it is...you are kept in some kinda' suspense and then your eyes jump down a notch and you find it....bam!

Think back to the mid seventies
Gas shortages & long lines at the pump
Did we learn then when fuel prices
Did an upward jump…

Obviously, we didn't learn, and more importantly, our so called 'leaders' didn't learn. That was the time that we, like some other nations like Holland, should have started investing in Alternative Energy type vehicles - like electric and hydrogen based.

But what did we savvy Americans do? And what are we still doin - over 30 years later - still lookin, and searchin, and warrin, over more oil, oil, oil. And now, our savvy 'leaders' want to ruin what's left of our shorelines, to get even more. And maybe, if we're extremely lucky, the price of gas will go down a few cents in a few years, and we'll all be wantin bigger and 'better' gas guzzlin muscle vehicles again. And I doubt we will ever learn, 'til there just ain't another squirt of oil left in old Mother Earth.

A THOROUGHLY TRUTHFUL WRITE. I DO NOT LET GAS PRICES WORRY ME. jUST SO FAR HAVE BEEN LUCKY TO HAVE ENOUGH MONEY TO GO WHERE i WANT OR NEED TO GO WITH MY CAR.
