Disillusions of Grandeur…

Dreams of hitting the lottery,

A poor mans dream,

Is it better to have money,

Or is it a hindrance that makes one scream…

So many that have won,

Seem to have problems many,

I wish just once to know the problems,

Of having money enough to live & have fun…

No longer would I live in a shoebox,

Room to move around would be great,

Of myself I could and would take stock,

Not sure I would live here in this state…

Rene & I could travel,

See the world, hopefully we would not unravel,

First and foremost though, this country we could see,

In a motorhome, by boat or car would make it easy…

But alas, my luck is not too good,

I can win a few bucks but nothing major,

Though we do keep trying,

Everytime a big jackpot passes us by,

You may find me hiding in my bed and crying…J

Ed,

The words ring so true in your words. We always want the best for ourselves and loved ones, but it always seems so far off.

Yea I keep wishing too but seems the only luck I have in this world is to be blessed by having great friends and associates her on AD.
Keep wishing though bro,

I have these delusions to, the same kind. But never give up trying, not knowing when you can hit is the way to keep trying and maybe something big will be in your forecast one of these big days. Never give up on anything at all.

Ed, Ed, Ed,

You'd have a better chance of getting struck by lightning. I know: been indirectly hit, twice. Yeah, I know: would be nice to be comfortable (would hate being rich). Hoping the PCH shows up at my door tomorrow. =] Entered often enough!!! If it does, you'll hear me all the way in 'Jersey, and I'll send you some money. PROMISE!! Say a prayer for me?

(((HUGS))) and love, Karla.

Only ones getting rich are the lottery officials and oil CEOs!!! Not us, who NEED it to put food on the table and a roof over our heads - you're in MY prayers, (((Sweetie))).

These Black and Blue Red Zone Days by Aberjhani

Just as life during the pandemic was color-coded with different hues representing different levels of danger, life in its aftermath has become shaded in similar ways. As a self-styled “Seeker of Beauty with Beauty,” (borrowing from a quote by W.E.B.
