Built in 1881, A hotel it was one, Fell into a state of disarray, Now a state & national landmark, or so they say… Its really kinda neat, Look at them big feet, She’s been in past incarnations, A restaurant, a hotel, a bar, And a beach cottage, so far… Go to Atlantic City to gamble, Then visit Lucy downbeach, a short amble, She will never again go on a ramble, Her last move in nineteen & seventy, Don’t want her ‘inards’ to be again scrambled… © ed ;-) 1/8/09

ED - good poem and story.

my Niece Connie who lives 'up there' or rather, 'down there' has been inside LUCY for the tour and has several pictures in an album. She parked her near the elephant and took a pic, so the immense size could be realized.

looking forward to seeing myself, maybe this Spring.

Lucy would make a great Ancient Ed Clubhouse. Borrow the money from Brother Edvard, buy good old Lucy, stock her with Coors, and call the first meeting!
