Several more days it will be,
But next Monday we will him see,
They called and confirmed his return,
For a short time there I thought I might,
Not get to see him again, except maybe in an urn…
They say he has been a delight,
Since the first time they laid eyes on his sight,
He was scared that first day & through the night,
But as time went on, he relaxed & acted polite…
Its been quiet around here of late,
One gets used to hearing even his breathing,
And to watch him sleep is to me most calming,
I look forward to next Monday, both he & Rene,
I get to see at once, my dog Rufuz & my forever soul mate…

I've been counting the days with you. It won't be long now. I know you, Rene, and Rufus will be once again a reunited and happy family. Ed, I too have a dog that is truly my soulmate too. Thats why I can understand what you are going through. Blackie's smaller than Rufus...he's a black shihzu. He lights up my life every day, he's just like my child. My baby. He's incredibly spoiled but I don't care. Ed, hang in there. Monday's is on its way, and PlEASE write and let us know how it goes when Rufus finally gets home where he belongs.
