Poem Artwork

Another mile more each day,

Riding making me stronger, tis’ my way,

To some I am doing too much,

Though it helps for me to feel God’s touch…

I also pray each morning,

A few prayers to start each day,

Then another mile, ignoring some folks warning,

I know when to stop, my body tells me so,

But to get back to being me, I want to again grow…

My legs do hurt a bit in the front,

Of better feelings & strength I do hunt,

I am trying hard to become better fit,

But its my good emotional self that’s hard to git’…

On some day’s my bike ride makes me feel fine,

Others though I still look at the future and whine,

Gainful employment I need as well to find,

But for now I will just keep moving towards another mile if God's will be kind...

Oh brother! you can't imagine how heavy those one miles are, as I am biking without a bike towards that 100 that's so near and yet so darn far away for my legs...oh well, we also have PeeWee and whos's complaining?

As you gain physical strength and accomplish more and more, your emotional self will improve and grow as well. Nobody is exempt from a whiny day now and then. Just think about how far you've come and smile. Patrick

YEYEY!!! WTG, Ed! This is GREAT news and just keep those endorphins flowing and your mindset will soon also come along for the ride! Maybe "gainful" employment might be found requiring something on two wheels? You never can tell. Fit and fabulous, the future's looking good just lookin at YOU, Kid! I'm so proud of you - you've come such a long way since your tres poorly days. I'll wave a couple of pom-poms for you to cheer you on! :)) xx

A DYNAMIC TESTIMONY OF WHERE ALL YOUR HELP AND STRENGTH COMES FROM. YOU'VE COME SUCH A LONG WAYS ED...THE LORD HAS HEALED YOU REMARKABLY...TOOK YOU OUT OF YOUR SICK BED AND PUT YOU BACK ON YOUR FEET AND NOW...IT IS HE THAT KEEPS YOU EACH AND EVERY DAY. HE'S PUT PEOPLE IN YOUR LIFE THAT CARE AND THAT COME TO YOU WITH GOOD ADVICE; DON'T DO TOO MUCH, TAKE IT EASY. I HAVE WORKED IN THE HEALTH CARE FIELD AND THE BIGGEST CAUSE OF RELAPSE IS; DOING TOO MUCH...TOO SOON. MAY YOU CONTINUE TO HEAL, SPIRITUALLY AND PHYSICALLY AND MAY YOU KNOW THAT JESUS LOVES YOU VERY MUCH...I PRAY SOME DAY YOU WILL COME TO KNOW JUST HOW MUCH AND I AM PRAYING FOR YOU. THANKS FOR SHARING THIS KEEPER. GOD BLESS AND LOVE, JOYCE * HIS INSPIRATIONS
