Daily drudgery...

Kitchen sink full,

Laundry bag as well,

Rugs need vacuuming,

Sheets need changing,

Not giving you no bull…

 

Morning shower taken,

All trimmed & shaved,

Burgers for dinner I’ve all day craved,

With extra cheese & a couple strips of bacon…

 

Three separate heaters running,

But summer time is, I hope, fast coming,

Then I can in the sun do some sunning,

Life’s daily drudgery is more in the summer, funning…

I agree with you Ed, summer is more fun but every season has it's reason so wash up those dishes, do your laundry and enjoy the coolness. Take a nice brisk walk and you'll feel great. Dress warm.
