What happened to the extreme heat,

Where last night it was close to a hundred,

Tonight it’s down to like seventy-seven,

After all that heat this feels like heaven…

Won’t change for too long,

Afterall it’s still summer,

But one night’s break is comfy,

Now I can wear my sarong,

But the heat returning is definitely a bummer…

So, only another month or so for the hot heat,

Those in Texas & points south really got it bad,

Maybe eventually we can send them some cooler breezes,

Send it from the north to the south would be one hell of a feat…
