Poem Artwork

Not yet has it happened,

But far away it ain’t,

Cold weather & the white stuff,

Coming from the sky in fluff…

This winter I hope to be warm,

Around me I must of blankets swarm,

For each and every snow storm,

Does bring for me a worried form…

But to be honest, I look forward to its coming,

And then once its here, I can’t wait for it’s leaving,

As by next spring I won’t for winter be grieving,

Although I will miss driving in the snow,

And hearing while lying in bed,

The wind around my camper when it does blow…

Good write, Ed. I can't identify with your problem. We wouldn't know what to do with that much snow down here. Summer lingers on.

Like you, Ed, I don't mind the snow right up until about January 1st...giggle.....but alas here in Atlantic Canada, winter is most often 5 to 6 months long......sigh!

These Black and Blue Red Zone Days by Aberjhani

Just as life during the pandemic was color-coded with different hues representing different levels of danger, life in its aftermath has become shaded in similar ways. As a self-styled “Seeker of Beauty with Beauty,” (borrowing from a quote by W.E.B.

Born in Salt by T. Weber

In a post-coup America, an Illinois farm boy is drawn into the resistance by his brother's death. Captured, he is given a choice: betray his friends, or the girl he loves will be lobotomized.
