The first real day of fall this day,

I hope it does not soon go away,

So cool that the heater kicked on,

Some sun, some clouds but no gray…

What should I do on this wonderful afternoon,

Should I go to the beach, strip down & skinny dip,

Acting like a crazy unabashed loon,

Or should I stay home, take a pill & watch cartoons…

Even when I am blank in my head,

As I thought I was before writing this,

I still can, once given the impetus, write,

Guess I am more so than I thought quite bright,

Hard to believe that at this very moment I just feel so right…J
