Overlooking the ocean, Hearing its crashing waves, Feeling its cooling spray, Speaking to God in my own way… If only once God would answer my plead, *Just once give me something I think* I need, To of my intellect feed, To of my wallet give seed… A seagull flaps by, Saying good morning, Not there to give warning, Just to let me know God does of me hear…**

Nice Ed ... especially the sentiment. You sure have been growing since your sickness. It's good, the curiosity, the questioning, and reaching out. Michele and me, too, see birds (especially Ravens and Hawks and Eagles) as signs that God has heard our supplications and answered. Have a good day. richard
