the picture is of the tree to the left and how close it came to my camper, crushing my bike, tearing down my awning & flattening my picnic table...AND SCARING THE SHIT OF ME!!!

Gone since last Friday nights storm, Still no power now but got computer & TV, Have a loaned generator from a friend, OH MY GOD, this week has been the living end… A 50 foot pine tree just missed the camper, Took down my awning, so no longer do I have that, Can’t imagine how felt the dogs & cats, Never saw lightening or heard thunder, ever, like that… Withdraw symptoms from my computer addiction, Are running rampant through my mind & this ain’t fiction, So as or if the power ever comes back up, Then more will be written in explanation…

It looks like your luck isn't all bad. But I'm sure you'll miss the bike and the awning. at least you got your addiction partly back!

From what I hear, next your beloved sea will rise a few feet and your trailer will be on the seashore!

I can damn well relate, Ed. The last two hurricanes that came through here left me without electricity for two weeks in August, hottest month of the year, and I didn't have a generator. Hope you get back to normal soon.
