I ain't dead yet...

Poem Artwork

My hair a messy mop,

I smell of sleep,

My eyes hard to open,

Just waking up is another old pop…J

Well better old than the alternative,

Three times I have been close to death,

Only to bounce back and again live,

Right now I am bored, with little to do,

I’ve got no gas, nor money; I just shook a stomach flu…J

So here I sit, at my computer while I still have cable,

My job says they WILL take me back, eventually,

Damn Sandy put the screws to that,

At least for now I won’t get skinny; I’ve got some food,

Nor will I most likely though get fat,

Because I want to get back on my bike, as soon as I am able…J

So glad you bounce back !!!

Need you to tickle our funnybones !!!

Think I have an exercise machine somewhere. Hmmmm. Must be under
somethin'. Look again later. Right now I gotta EAT !!

May you live long and prosperous :)
And continue to give us the joys you do
in your perspective in all you write Ed...

Always so enjoy them...

It sure is nice to know, you are still among us, otherwise I'd be worried reading this statement of yours, not only that, to be able to read it, after all the charing and burnt pieces there would be, ha, in any case, you ain't dead yet, is good news, you bet.
Bless ya!

I'm glad you are feeling better. Sandy sure did put a hurtin' on you but I see you are a survivor in the true sense of the word. Keep the faith and fight the good fight!

Love ya!

You are looking up, Ed, and that is a good thing. It does no one any good to sit and stew about their troubles. I know times are bad, but you are keeping a wonderful attitude, I am impressed and happy that you are.
